New music ~ Conor Albert ~ the latest from the south London stable of beat making, songwriting talent (see too Tom Mitch, Loyle Career, Lucy Lu….) I love this self-taught 21 year-old multi-instrumentalist. He caught my ear/eye writing with Parthenope and has a beautiful way with chords and sat back lazy grooves. His own latest release Piano Joint is just that but I reckon he’ll be producing and collaborating with tons in the next few years.
Performance ~ Matt Corby ~ sad not to have heard more from Matt Corby in recent years but here he is singing Brother as a reminder how incredible his vocals can be and the commitment he brings to his performances.
